In-Home Consultations

Take one thing off your plate and let me come to you.

Initial Consultation

$240

This comprehensive and customized consultation happens in the comfort of your home where we do a detailed investigation into your feeding challenges and goals. This consultation is appropriate for new clients and returning clients seeking assistance with a new baby.

Lasting around 2 hours, this individualized consultation includes a thorough history and assessment of yourself and your baby. This includes an evaluation of your breasts and a functional oral assessment of your baby, a feeding assessment, and if indicated a measurement of your baby’s intake. We work together to develop a care plan with strategies and suggestions to improve upon any identified challenges and to work toward reaching your particular goals. Pertinent details of our visit are communicated with your healthcare team so that your care is seamless.

Follow Up consultation

$150/75 min and $180/90 min

Some feeding challenges require follow up sessions in order to fully resolve complex feeding issues and meet your goals.

Depending on your needs, these visits last between 75 and 90 minutes and include an assessment an evaluation of progress made toward your identified goals, a revised care plan, and if appropriate, updated communications with the appropriate members of your healthcare team.

Are you a client already who has been rocking this feeding thing and something new has popped up? Book a follow up session and we can check in to what’s happening.

Bottle Concern Consultation

$180 / 90 min

Feeding from the bottle is a skill that is learned - just like feeding at the breast / chest. If something is not quite right in the process then it can be stressful and confusing for both parents and babies.

There are a wide range of situations that qualify as legitimate bottle-feeding concerns. These may range from babies who are currently taking the bottle but are messy, noisy, and/or take a long time to finish; babies who are unhappily tolerating the bottle but are distressed and no one is having a fun time; and babies who flat our refuse to try the bottle at all or who have been struggling and are now experiencing full blown bottle aversion.

Solving these concerns means taking a close and informed look at what is going on, identifying factors that may be in your way, and having a detailed plan designed to help you move forward.

In this consult, bottle-feeding will be the sole focus. If you have concerns about breast/ chest-feeding, and/or pumping, then an additional consultation will be needed to cover those additional areas.
