Rachael gives individualized attention to each and every client using the knowledge and skills that come from being an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). IBCLCs are health professionals with an expertise in lactation and breastfeeding, our credential is the gold standard in lactation care. To become an IBCLC requires rigorous schooling in health sciences and lactation education, thousands of hours of clinical lactation and breastfeeding counseling, and recertification through a rigorous exam or continuing education every 5 years. IBCLCs use evidence based knowledge in their interactions with breastfeeding families.
